Above you can see that we really utilized the hydraulic lift trailer we borrowed from one of the FWP guys.  Here you can see the path that is dug down....first layer gravel, next layer sand, then the urbanite, then pea gravel around the pavement.  This is for drainage, and stability of the walkway so it doesn't crack or buckle.  Might as well do it right the first time!
