Hollywood Bowl

It rained all day as we walked around Hollywood, but just before the concert began, the clouds lifted....yay!

We arrived early to get a parking place near the Kodak Theater and walked up and down Hollywood Blvd....I thought Michael Jackson was gone, but......

April 19, 2010 - made it to Cali to visit our friends, the Halls, and take in an Eagles concert

Such a long time since we've seen our friends, Gail and Darrell. We all have been busy to the max, but now we had a chance to visit them in Ontario, CA, and see an Eagles concert at the Hollywood Bowl. (cross that off my bucket list).
Wish we could have had a longer visit, but we had to return to Tucson to get ready for our Montana trip, and they leave for Europe in 2 weeks....talk about "life in the fast lane"!

July 12, 2009.....our 40 yr anniversary.
We chose a get-away to Sedona, in northern Arizona. It's near the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, lots of beautiful scenery. We hiked in Oak Creek Canyon, which was where our Canyon Wren Cabin was located. We stayed in the Honeysuckle, built in the 50's and later renovated. Our hosts were great, providing great breakfast and conversation. We enjoyed great dining, and fun shopping as well. The sunset from the airport parking lot was amazing.
